How we
handle your data.
LocalStream is a one-person operation based in Houston, TX. We collect as little data as possible to run the channel. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
LocalStream (watchlocalstream.tv) is run by Juan Moreno. Contact: hello@watchlocalstream.tv.
What we collect
We only collect data you give us directly through a form on this site.
- Creator applications (name, email, content type, optional phone, links to your work, message about your content)
- Creator submissions (videos you upload, plus title, genre, duration, description)
- Contact form submissions from the About page (name, email, topic, message)
- Advertiser inquiries from the Advertise page (name, business name, email, optional phone, package interest, message)
We do not use cookies for tracking, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone.
Where your data lives
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores form submissions in Cloudflare KV. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent) as part of normal operation. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Bunny.net hosts uploaded creator videos during the review process. Videos are deleted from Bunny within 24 hours of approval. See Bunny's privacy policy.
- Resend sends emails (welcome emails to new creators, admin notifications to us). See Resend's privacy policy.
- Stripe (when active) processes advertiser payments and creator payouts. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Approved videos live on the LocalStream server in Houston for broadcast.
How long we keep it
- Pending applications: until reviewed (usually within a week), then archived.
- Approved creator accounts: as long as the creator is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your email and any future payout info — past payment records may be retained for tax purposes.
- Submitted videos: stay in Bunny for up to 24 hours after approval, then deleted. Approved videos remain on our server as long as they're part of the active rotation.
- Form messages: kept until we've handled the inquiry.
Your rights
You can email us at hello@watchlocalstream.tv to:
- Ask what data we have on you
- Correct it
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw an application or submission
We reply within a week.
Children
LocalStream is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit which pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
